Find your fit

1. Place a soft measuring tape around your head where you would like your hat to sit, just above your ears and across your forehead.
2. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug. Do not pull it tightly.
3. Record the measurement in centimetres and compare it with the information for your chosen product.

Hat sizing varies by style. Use the product page's specific measurements and available size options; a size label alone is not a universal measurement. If you are between sizes or need help with fit, email serivce@brimandcove.com before ordering.

Everyday care

Follow the care label supplied with your hat. Handle your hat gently by its brim rather than pinching the crown. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, crushing and prolonged heat.

Cleaning

Use a soft brush or clean cloth to remove surface dust. Check the product's material and care instructions before using water or any cleaning product. Do not machine wash, soak, tumble dry or apply strong heat unless the product's care label specifically permits it. For a small mark, test any permitted spot-cleaning method on an inconspicuous area first.

Keeping the shape

Avoid folding or packing a hat flat unless the product is specifically described as packable. When travelling, support the crown and prevent other items from pressing into the brim. Allow a damp hat to dry naturally in a ventilated place, away from direct heat.
